International Christmas Luncheon Thurs., Dec. 17, 2015

First Annual International Christmas Luncheon Grades K - 8th Dear Kindergarten - 8th grade Parents, Last year our middle school students and faculty members decided to have an International Christmas Luncheon for students and CLS faculty and staff.  It was a huge success.  This year, we would love to invite all of our K-8 students to take part in this wonderful time of sharing various cultural and favorite dishes from our wonderfully diverse student population.    DATE:    International Christmas Lunch is scheduled for Thursday, December 17, 2015, in the Parish Hall.   TIMES:  Kindergarten - 2nd - lunch from 10:30-11:10 (clean-up from 11:10-11:30)                   3rd-4th - lunch from 11:30-12:10 (clean-up from 12:10-12:30)                   5th-8th - lunch from 12:40-1:30 (clean-up immediately following lunch)   FOOD GUIDELINES:  Each group will have a sign-up sheet coordinated with the grades with which they will  be sharing lunch  Foods will be divided among four main groups (main course, desserts, salads, drinks -    water or soft drinks) with the purpose of serving 4-6 students as well as faculty and staff  members  Each group should provide enough food and beverage for their respective group (K-  2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-8th)  Parents are invited and welcome to join with their children and CLS staff  Foods needing to be heated up or refrigerated should be done so through your child's  teacher  Please try to use disposable trays and pans if at all possible in your preparation  Teachers will also be preparing foods for their respective groups  No peanut or nuts should be used in preparation of foods  Looking forward to some awesome food, fun, and fellowship on the 17th!     Dr. Chivalette and CLS Faculty and Staff     Calvary Lutheran School 17200 Via Magdalena San Lorenzo, CA  94580 (510) 278-2598 www.calvaryslz.org

Memorial Poinsettias   If you would like to order a poinsettia to be placed in the Church in memory of your loved ones, Please contact Karla in the Church office to place your order. The poinsettias are $10.00 each and you may take them home after our Christmas Day Service.

Important Peanut Free Message for Lunch

Calvary Lutheran School PLEASE REMEMBER!!! Due to severe allergies to peanuts and other tree nuts we are a asking that these items do not come onto campus. Especially when we have rain and the students have lunch inside, it is hard to protect those with allergies in the confined spaces when having to eat inside and not at the usual lunch area.
