Rummage Sale Aug 9

RUMMAGE SALE!!!!!   Its a little past spring but its never too late to do some spring cleaning and make a little money while you are at it. Calvary will be having their annual Rummage sale Saturday August 9th from 8am-4pm Reserve your space now!!!!! $20.00 per space and all money raised will go towards our students for field trips, assemblies and special day activities and treats. Please feel free to encourage family and friends to rent a spot as this is open to all not just our Calvary families. We will also have a food booth and will be needing volunteers to assist in serving and selling (no cooking required)

Calling All Middle Schoolers! Buddies Needed!

Happy Summer Calvary Family! Calvary has finally launched its CIA, Calvary International Academy, component for the 2014-2015 school year. We have teamed up with JLS, our International Student Organization based in the U.S. JLS and Calvary are working together to bring students from overseas to join with us in providing an American education. This is a fantastic opportunity for American and Foreign students to collaborate in an educational setting while developing lasting relationships. JLS has also asked Calvary to launch its first ever San Francisco Bay Area International Summer Camp from July 23 to August 15. The camp will be 3 1/2 weeks long, M-F, from 9 am-4 pm. Mrs. Morlock, program director, has designed classes including Literature, Science, Music, Sports, etc. Each week will culminate with a field trip to places such as Santa Cruz, San Francisco MoMA, and Pier 39 & Alcatraz. We will have 14 International students, 6th-8th grades, who will have an American Buddy assigned to them to assist them with the language and understanding of American culture. We are seeking at least 7 more American Buddies to join us in this exciting cultural opportunity to meet new friends from around the world.
