School Beautification (Sat., Jan. 30) and Open House (Feb. 5), 2016

All Hands On Deck! School Beautification Day   Saturday, January 30, 2016

Dear CLC and CLS - Family and Friends, In preparation for our upcoming Open House, we will be having a clean-up party this Saturday, January 30, 2016, starting at 9:00 a.m., until work is complete. This is a joint venture.  We are hoping that you will be able to come and join us while we all help and spruce up our school, church grounds and classrooms. If everyone shows up and does their part, then we can all go home about 12 noon. We couldn't help but notice that many of you are missing PPP (Parent Participation Program) hours, especially those on tuition assistance, so this would be a great opportunity plug those hours away and help!  If you have any additional rags at home, please do not forget to bring them with you!  Coffee and Donuts will be served in the morning. For those staying later, lunch will be served.

We will need people to help wipe desks and seats in all classrooms, clean and       polish white boards, wash windows (inside and out), replace any burnt out lights       in all classrooms and wash covers, wash tables in the court yard, sweep walkways       and much more.

OPEN HOUSE      Friday, February 5, 2016 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Plan to join all CLS family and friends and celebrate our student scholars... that's  YOUR child and their many achievements. Bring your family and a friend or two who might be interested in Calvary and we'll give them the tour.  Everyone can tour the campus, visit all the classrooms, say hi to the teachers, see your child's classroom, see what they have been studying, and enjoy some refreshments! Do not forget the family referral discount. If your family or friend's student enrolls and attends Calvary, both of you will receive a tuition discount for the month. An additional way to earn PPP Hours is to donate a batch of cookies or brownies to the school. Please contact the school secretary and let her know what you will be bringing at (510) 278-2598. Auction Meeting - Tues Jan 26 - 6:30

Please join the Auction Committee on Tuesday, January 26th in the conference room at 6:30pm to share any new information re: the Auction. If you were going to check on prices etc for any areas please bring them with you so that we can openly discuss what has been gathered. Meal Train conductors needed! As most of you are aware Mrs. Schibler's husband Mike had a stroke in December. While he is recovering we would like to help Nancy and the kids out by providing meals so that they can focus on other things going on and still get the nutrition that they need.
