Friends in Christ,
He is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia! Easter greetings during this season of celebration (the season of Easter lasts for 50 days, by the way).
We have much to be thankful for. The resurrection stands on top of the list, but we can also mention blue skies, friends & family, relief from covid restrictions, and more. I encourage you to make your own list of thanks as an act of prayer. Consider the people, events, opportunities, sights, sounds, and insights you're thankful for.
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
whom he has redeemed from trouble
and gathered in from the lands,
from the east and from the west,
from the north and from the south. (Psalm 107:1-3)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
